PHDCCI Delegation Interacted with Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana

A distinguished delegation from the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) recently interacted with Nayab Singh Saini, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, on 22nd April 2026 in New Delhi to discuss key developments in the pharmaceutical and medical devices sector.
 
Among the delegation members was Supreet Singh, Convener, Regional Pharmaceutical, Health and Wellness Committee, PHDCCI, and Co-Chair, Punjab State Chapter, PHDCCI. The meeting focused on the Draft Haryana Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Manufacturing Policy and the recommendations submitted by PHDCCI to strengthen Haryana’s ecosystem for pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing.
 
During the interaction, Mr. Supreet Singh emphasized the importance of creating a progressive and industry-friendly policy framework that promotes ease of doing business, faster single-window clearances, robust infrastructure development, and attractive incentives for investors in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
 
He also highlighted the need to encourage innovation, research & development, and skill-enhancement initiatives to improve the competitiveness of Haryana’s pharmaceutical manufacturing landscape and support long-term industrial growth.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini appreciated the proactive suggestions and valuable inputs shared by the PHDCCI delegation. He acknowledged the significant contribution of the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry toward economic development, healthcare advancement, and employment generation in the state.
 
The Chief Minister further assured that the recommendations from industry representatives would be carefully considered as the policy is finalized, with a strong focus on developing a robust and investor-friendly ecosystem in Haryana.
The meeting was also attended by Rao Narbir Singh, Minister of Industries, Government of Haryana, along with other distinguished members from the industry and policy ecosystem.
 
This interaction reflects the continued efforts of PHDCCI and industry leaders to strengthen India’s pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities and promote sustainable growth through collaborative policymaking.
