On 30th July 2025, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Pharma Federation at PHD House, Sector 31-A, Chandigarh. Sh. Supreet Singh, Convener, Regional Pharmaceutical, Health, and Wellness Committee, PHDCCI, and Ms. Bharti Sood, Regional Director, PHDCCI, represented PHDCCI during the official MoU signing ceremony, and Sh. Gulshan Rawat, President, International Pharma Federation & Sh. Neeraj Giri, General Secretary of the International Pharma Federation, represented the International Pharma Federation on this significant occasion.
This MoU aims to foster collaboration and innovation within the pharmaceutical and wellness sectors, contributing to the advancement of healthcare initiatives.
The discussion further emphasized deepening bilateral collaboration in pharmaceuticals, health, and wellness, focusing on mechanisms for joint research, knowledge and technology exchange, and adoption of Good Manufacturing Practices to enhance regulatory compliance. Additionally, both parties explored pathways to expand market access for Indian pharmaceutical exports through trade delegations and advocacy.
